it's just a number!

This card was inspired by Susan Rahaila's number wrap card here (scroll down to the last card). I was originally going to make my card a wrap too, but it wasn't working with this die....I was also going to do white on white, but had this stamped chevron piece of cardstock leftover from another card on the table, and loved the look of it. Looks slightly retro to me....Especially with the rough spots in the ink (sometimes they're a good thing, right?)..

I'm entering this into this weeks CAS-ology challenge #134, cue card MONOCHROME.

Here's a close up of the layered die cut:

She's also obsessed with pink and purple!

Cardstock: SU whisper White, SU Pool Party, SU Wisteria Wonder, SU positively pink (retired)

Super Hero "5" Signal Card

I made this card for a super hero themed birthday party. This was my first time sponging ink as a background....I think I could use some practice, but I think the splotchy results work for this card. Yes?

This card came with a custom made super hero crayon holder.

Supplies used:

Stamps:None
Cardstock: SU Whisper White, SU Basic Black, SU so saffron
Ink: SU blues (I don't remember which colors I used!)
Dies: MFT solid skyline, mft numbers, lil inkers stitched rectangles, mama elephant confetti

Pink and Grey Baby Card

The "Less is More" color challenge for this week is "Pink and Grey," I adore this color combination. I made this card using some of my new goodies from  Mama Elephant. The Up and Away stamp set was love at first sight, and I finally got my hands on it last month.

I'm also entering this into Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, "All Creatures Great and Small."

I included a little home made baby toy with the card - it makes a crinkly noise and has all the fun ribbons to pull on (next time I'll make some ribbons shorter, some longer...)

Supplies used:

Stamps: Mama Elephant Up and Away, CSS cart pals: Baby
Cardstock: Neenah Solar White, SU Smoky SLate, SU pink Pirouette
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Prisma Color Pencils, Gamasol
Dies: Mama Elephant Polaroid, Mama elephant confetti
Accessories: Wink of Stella, SU Rhinsestone

Cup of Love Shaker Card

This card was inspired by CAS-ology Week 133, specifically Hazel's card, and my husband's love for all hot beverages.

I really love how this card came out!! I think it's my favorite card yet...

I have a lot more cards to share. I've made the last couple weeks, I just haven't had a chance to pull out my computer, so be sure to check back next week for more....

I'm also entering this in Virginia's View Challenge #12
